- A redesigned and more attractive user interface.
- A new edit mode where you double click a menu item in the preview window to edit directly in the preview window.
- A Resource Folder feature that allows you to preview a menu locally without having to change web paths. See the Resource Folder page.
- Publishing has been improved to make it easier to insert a menu into the page. You can now auto-generate menu code; and copy and paste menu resource files into a specific folder
- It is now easier to add new templates, to modify the style of the built-in templates, and to change the organization of templates.
- You can now have multi-column sub menus without creating your own table, and you can have a multi-row menu without creating two separate menus.
- You can copy and paste menu items and retain all the properties.
- Most special effects work in IE only, but check out a new special effect - Rectangle - which should work in most browsers.
- A new feature - Tips of the Day - provides tips and tricks on using the program.
- Character encoding allows the creation of menus in the character sets of various languages.
- Code generated is valid W3C XHTML 1.0.
- Sothink Tree Menu users can now switch from a tree menu to a drop-down or slide-out menu by importing the Tree Menu authoring file (*.stm).
